Zara Larsson Releases New Song “You Love Who You Love”
Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson will release her four studio albums (the third international album) “VENUS” on February 9, 2024.
It is her first album in three years since the 2021 album “Poster Girl”.
From the album, she released fourth single called “You Love Who You Love” on January 19, 2024.
The track was written by Karl Ivert, Kian Sang, MNEK, and Zara Larsson. Produced by MTHR.
Zara Larsson said of the song, “We started writing over PRIDE, and began talking about how amazing it is that anyone can love anyone – but that doesn't mean you always should! We've all had that friend, or been that friend, who keeps going back to someone who's bad for them, and 'You Love Who You Love' is saying enough is enough.”- The new album comprises a 12-track, with guest appearance from French DJ David Guetta.
Zara Larsson told Billboard about the album, “This is a very solid body of work that I'm very proud of. I find it really hard to stay sonically in one kind of genre. Even though the album is still pop, it sounds a bit more R&B-leaning and also has more just classic pop jams. There are drum patterns and drum beats on some songs and there are also some beautiful strings on most of the songs. So, while there are definitely elements which tie it together, overall, I would just say the real thread throughout the album is just my voice and me telling a story depending on what I'm feeling right now.” - source : Apple Music
