Southern California alt-pop singer-songwriter Thea Taylor, aka carolesdaughter released a new song “Trailer Trash” on April 16, 2021.
The song is her first single under a major label. Lats year her 2020 song “Violent” went viral and she signed to Arista Records.
The track was written by Diamond Pistols and carolesdaughter. The accompanying music video was directed by Neta Ben Ezra.
"Trailer Trash is a song about accepting the unique and somewhat trashy parts of you,” Thea Taylor said. “I had a vision for the video to feel a certain way. I wanted it to be a glimpse into the world of someone who ran away from home and had no rules. They could look the way they want and do what they want. I found the makeup artist Jessie [Edelstein] on Tik Tok and fell in love with her signature look and knew it had to be in my video.”
The song will appear on her upcoming EP, which is expected to be released this summer. “These are songs I wrote when I was 16 and I was still in rehab, so it’s just seeing where I’m at now,” she told NYLON. “The songs to me are really timeless because they mean so much to me.”- source : Spotify
