Sam Tsui Premieres New Music Video for “Trust”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Sam Tsui dropped a new music video for “Trust”, directed by Jade Ehlers and Sam Miller, starring Sam Tsui and Struther White.
The video was premiered exclusively on Billboard on January 30th. The video is inspired from 2005's film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
The song is the first single off of his third studio album of the same name, which was released on JJanuary 26, 2018. The album is his first LP in five years since "Make It Up".
About the video, Sam Tsui explained;
"The song explores the insecurities we feel in relationships when the communication and trust start to break down. For the video, we went all-out with an over-the-top sexy spy fantasy complete with poisoned martinis, an enigmatic briefcase, and a fight scene that’s like a gay Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I love this video and album, and I know the fans will too."-
