  • Bring Me The Horizon Premieres New Song “DiE4u” on BBC Radio 1

  • British rock band Bring Me The Horizon, consisting of Oli Sykes (vocals), Jordan Fish (keyboards), Lee Malia (guitar), Matt Kean (bass) and Matt Nicholls (drums), premiered a new song “DiE4u” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.

The song will appear on “Post Human” series EP, which follows up the 2020 EP “Post Human: Survival Horror” and is expected to be released in early 2022.
The accompanying music video was directed by frontman Oli Sykes, who shot it in Ukraine.
“DiE4u is a song about toxic obsessions, vices and things you can't kick,” Oli Sykes said. “I think a lot of people went through very similar struggles while in lockdown, coming face to face with yourself and seeing who you really are and what's important. The song is a triumphant and emotional one for me because it was a time of realisation to kick the things that were no good, and to take the choice in bettering myself.”
He continued, “The song is a triumphant and emotional one for me because it was a time of realization to kick the things that were no good and to take the choice in bettering myself,” Sykes explains candidly. ”It also connects to a deeper theme about us as a society and how we need to look at the way we treat ourselves, each other, as well as the world.”
He said of the video, “I mean, we went to Ukraine to shoot, which was pretty mild. I just wanted to make like a movie, which is kind of difficult when you've got screening screaming Hydrotreated song, Still I'm pretty proud of it.”
