Nadia Vaeh Releases New Song “Leap Of Faith”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Nadia Vaeh released a new song “Leap Of Faith” on August 27, 2021.
The track was written by Nadia Vaeh and Dion Shaw. Produced by Dion Shaw and Tyler Spratt.
Nadia Vaeh said of the song, “I wrote ‘Leap of Faith’ reflecting back on the times I’ve been happiest in my life. It was always the times I allowed myself to simplify and leave ‘comfort’ behind for something more. I lived in my car to save money for my dreams. And it was some of the best times in my life. Couch hopping at friend’s places and just being a vagabond. At the time of writing this song, I feel like I had succumbed to the power of comfort yet again, and I needed to take another ‘Leap of Faith’ to reach the next level of my career and spiritual journey.”
She continued, “Sometimes comfort is just a trap in disguise that is truly holding us back from reaching our highest potential. I am finally learning how to trust myself and that’s what this song is about. Also, I hope it inspires others to live their lives fearlessly and in their passion scorched in truth.”- A portion of the song's proceeds will be donated to the UK charity, Help Musicians.
She said, “‘Leap of Faith’ is the theme song to my artists’ journey and I hope that other indie artists out there singing their hearts out feel it too. I didn’t come from a wealthy family, but we all have crazy work ethics and creativity. This creativity has gotten me into some troublesome situations as an indie artist just trying to survive and make it happen. Without the backing of investors, family, or a label; it is so difficult to work in the music industry.”
She added, “Organizations like Help Musicians really give indie artists a fighting chance and the support that’s desperately needed. Music creators are unfortunately so poorly compensated that it’s important music consumers understand, while we appreciate them streaming our songs online and sharing our posts, it won’t even cover our health insurance premiums.” - source : SoundCloud
