Melanie C Drops New Music Video for “Into You”
Back in October 2020, former Spice Girls Melanie C released her self-titled eighth studio album for the first time in four years.
The album reached No. 8 on the UK Albums chart. “I've had well-documented issues [with eating disorders and depression], but this record finds me in a more self-accepting place,” Melanie C told Apple Music. “I loved getting back in the studio with youthful, talented people who had influences that were quite different to mine. They encouraged me to experiment more, and I feel reinvigorated. This is a new chapter.”
From the album, she dropped a new music video for “Into You” on January 8, 2021.
The video was directed by Graham Cruz. The track was written by Niamh Murphy, Tom Hollings, Melanie C and Samuel Brennan. Produced by Billen Ted.
She shared on social media, “I love this track. It makes me want to throw myself around the dance floor, which is obviously something none of us can do at the moment, so I don't know whether that's the right thing to say! Hopefully everyone will be back on the dance floor soon, jumping around to this!”- source : YouTube
