Becky Hill said of the song, “'Written about a break up of my own, Better Off Without You was a song that I listened to over the course of 2019 that helped me through some really dark times.”
Joel Corry and MNEK played “Head & Heart”. It was released in July. Joel Corry said, “2020 has been a tough year, so I wanted to give people an uplifting banger and bring the positive vibes.”
Clean Bandit and Mabel performed “Tick Tock”. The song was released in August, featuring American rapper 24kGoldn.
The group had started writing the song in November 2019, and the song was finished just before the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
