Daniel Briskin Shares New Song “Yellow”
- London-based singer-songwriter Daniel Briskin has shared a new song “Yellow”.
The song is his second single off following “Boy On The Lake” released last month.
Both songs will appear on his upcoming mixtape “Forever Was A Feeling”, where he worked with Klaxons' Jamie Reynolds.
The accompanying music video was directed by Eddie Whelan, who shot it in Daniel Briskin's home studio with visual collaboration with Joe Cruz.
“It’s a song about the juxtaposition of head versus heart,” explains Daniel Briskin. “The chorus is: 'Don’t call me, I can only let you down’. It’s about being self-aware enough to see you’re not in a good place to be in a relationship, but at the same time also trying to convince the other person that it’s a good idea. Ultimately, it’s saying: 'These are my flaws, but I still want to have a future with you.'”
