Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Jax Jones Teams Up With Au/Ra for New Song “i miss u”
British DJ Jax Jones released his second single of 2020 called “i miss u”, following "Tequila" with Martin Solveig and Raye.
This time, he collaborated with Antiguan-German singer-songwriter Au/Ra. This marks the first time Jax Jones and Au/Ra have worked together.
It was written by Olav Tronsmoen, Jin Jin, Ina Wroldsen, Cass Lowe, Au/Ra and Jax Jones. Produced by Tom Demac and Jax Jones.
Both artists have already shot the new music video for the song at Printworks in London, which will be premiered shortly.
Jax Jones said of the song, “I am so glad to be back with new music, I’ve been looking to drop ‘I miss u’ for quite a while but now felt like the perfect time to team up with AU/RA to release it, she’s an artist I massively admire and respect so I am very pleased she’s on this one with me. ‘I miss u’ takes it back to my roots with the signature Jax Jones club sound, as much as I love my upbeat dance pop records it’s fun to mix some melancholy in now and again. ‘I miss u’ couldn’t ring truer at this very moment, there’s so much stuff I miss in the world right now like not being able to play this song live but it feels good to give my fans new music and a sick new visual”- source : Spotify
