London-based singer-songwriter, Tyson Kelly of The Bootleg Beatles announced his sophomore EP “Plastic Rock Star” will be released on September 16, 2020.
The EP “Plastic Rock Star” contains 4-track and produced by Neil Candolora.
From the EP, the lead single “Am I Ever Gonna See You Again” was released on August 28th. It features the synth and '80s drum machine sounds vibes.
Tyson Kelly said of the song, “This track is about going out in the world and meeting someone you really connect with, spending time together and then having to leave for the next city and wondering if you'll ever reconnect. In this case the song is written from the fan's point of view.”
He has already shot the music video for the song, which will be premiered on September 2nd.
He said, “The music video is an homage to the likes of say, Rick Springfield, in the sense that if we are all going back to this time sonically let's not forget to include the best parts: the brilliant analog cheese magic that is VH1 music videos.”- source : American Songwriter
