Sting & Shaggy Premiere New Version of “Gotta Get Back My Baby” featuring Maître Gims
Back in April, British singer-songwriter Sting teamed up with Jamaican singer Shaggy and released “Gotta Get Back My Baby”.
Afterwards the pair released a collaborative album "44/87". The album title means the country calling code, the United Kingdom (+44) and the North American area code for Jamaica (876).
5 months later, both artists premiered a new version of “Gotta Get Back My Baby” featuring French rapper Maître Gims.
It was written by Martin Kierszenbaum, Shaggy, Sting, Andre Fennell & Teflon
The track will appear on the new editon of the album "44/87", which is sechedled to be released on November 9th.
The trio has already a music video for the song in Miami, which is upcoming shortly.
Sting and Shaggy recet performed on NPR Music Tiny Desk Concerts. Also they have been touring called The 44/876 Tour in North America since September 14th through to October 16th.
