Lil Durk Premieres New Album “Just Cause Y'all Waited” on SoundCloud
American hip hop artist Durk Banks, aka Lil Durk has delivered a new album “Just Cause Y'all Waited” via SoundCloud and other streaming music services.
Also he dropped a new music video for "How I Know" from the new album, featuring Lil Baby from the new album on March 29, 2018.
The video was premiered exclusively on Billboard and directed by Jerry Production.
To date, he has released two albums "Remember My Name" and "Lil Durk 2X" through the major label Def Jam Records. But this time, he published the new album as an independent artist.
"I've been with Def Jam Records for five years and they gave me my first recording contract so for that I'm forever grateful," Lil Durk said. "But I'm a different artist than I was five years ago, and the time is right for a change. At the same time, Def Jam is making changes in their offices and trying a new direction. I didn't want to be a part of another regime change."
The new album comprises of 10-track, featuring guest appearances from Lil Baby, Ty Dolla $ign, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Gunna and TK Kravitz.- source : Billboard
