RHEA Returns With New Song “Creeping Through My Head”
Belgian rock band RHEA, consisting of Jorge Van De Sande (guitar/vocals), Guillaume Lamont (guitar), Matthijs Machtelinckx (bass), Dajo Vlaeminckx (drums) and Hannes Cuyvers (guitar), returned with a new song “Creeping Through My Head” on November 8, 2023.
It is their first music in three years since the 2020 album “Lust For Blood”.
The band had released the deluxe edition of the album in 2022, including 4 unreleased songs.
Also, the song is the first single under their new label [PIAS] Recordings.
This time, the band worked with producer David Botrill on the track.
The track was written by Jorge Van De Sande, Guillaume Lamont, Matthijs Machtelinckx, Dajo Vlaeminckx and Hannes Cuyvers. Produced by David Botrill.
The band lead singer Jorge Van De Sande said of the song, “Creeping Through My Head is a song about complex, ambivalent love, yet at the same time it's about accepting the situation that you're in, immersing in it and getting comfortable, regardless if it hurts.”- He continued, “In general, I would say it's about our ability to enjoy self-destructive behaviour. Also, it's the most funky we have ever been as a band. Working with someone like David Bottrill was truly inspiring, and together we managed to reinvent this band, while at the same time staying true to ourselves and our musical identity, which turned out to almost have a therapeutic effect on us as a band. It's the perfect kick-off for a new era.”
