Jasmine Jethwa Shares New Song “Dream Of Running”
Back in August, South London-based singer-songwriter Jasmine Jethwa released a new song “Dream Of Running”.
The song is the first music since the second EP “Same Streets But I Don't See You Around”, which was released in April 2023.
The track was written by Jasmine Jethwa, Edward James Carlile, and Benjamin Francis Leftwich. Produced by King Ed.
The accompanying music video was directed by London-based directing duo 3-SIX, starring Alan Hall and Jasmine Jethwa.
The track talks about escaping from a difficult relationship, and the video draws Jasmine Jethwa and her love interest on a road trip across the UK, stopping off at different locations but ultimately with no clear destination in sight.
Jasmine Jethwa said of the song, “My escape song, for every time I wanted to jump into the car and drive away from it all. This song poured out one day in the studio with King Ed + Benjamin Francis Leftwich and basically stayed untouched since. It's a song i've listened to a lottt when i wanted to fade everything out, and hopefully it can now be that for you.”- Jasmine Jethwa is currently supporting Blanco White's EU tour through November 21, 2023.
After the tour, she embarks on her headline tour called “Same Streets But I Don't See You Around European Tour”.
The tour kicks off at Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam on November 25, 2023.
