blink-182 Announces New Album “ONE MORE TIME…”, Shares Two New Songs “ONE MORE TIME” & “MORE THAN YOU KNOW”
American rock band blink-182, consisting of Mark Hoppus (bass/vocals), Tom DeLonge (guitars/vocals) and Travis Barker (drums), has announced their ninth studio album “ONE MORE TIME...” will be released on October 20, 2023 via Columbia Records.
It is their first album in four years since the 2019 album “Nine”.
The album comprises 17-track that captures the band at the top of their game, layering in themes of tragedy, triumph, and most importantly, brotherhood, produced by Travis Barker. Also it was recorded between their reunion tour.
From the album, the band unveiled two new songs “ONE MORE TIME” and “MORE THAN YOU KNOW”.
“ONE MORE TIME” was written by Andrew Goldstein, Mark Hoppus, Aldae, and Tom DeLonge. Produced by Andrew Goldstein, Aldae.
The accompanying music video was directed by Carlos Lopez Estrada.
The track draws that Mark Hoppus' battle with cancer and ttragic plane crash experienced by Travis Barker.- Tom DeLonge told Zane Lowe of Apple Music, “When he told me he was sick, that was the gnarliest. It was like nothing matters really. For me it was always heavy on my heart that our friendship wasn't mended. All of us have lived through tragedies now that tear apart places in your heart and you've got to mend them back together and figure out how to be a better version of yourself."
“MORE THAN YOU KNOW” was written by Travis Barker, Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Aaron Rubin. Produced by Travis Barker.
