Lauren Alaina Releases New Song “Just Wanna Know That You Love Me”
American country music singer-songwriter Lauren Alaina released her new 6-track EP “Unlocked” last month.
It is her first project in two yeas since the 2021 album “Sitting Pretty on Top of the World”.
Following the EP, she released a new song “Just Wanna Know That You Love Me” on July 3, 2023.
She first performed the song on ABC's The Bachelorette on the same day.
Lauren Alaina shared on social media, “I really ROSE to the occasion for my new friend, Charity Lawson. Tune in to The Bachelorette tonight for a performance of a new song from yours truly,🌹”
She continued, “In case you missed us performing my brand new song 'Just Wanna Know That You Love Me' on the The Bachelorette... here's the full version of my performance. I hope you're loving this song as much as I do ❤️🌹”

The new EP was produced by Joey Moi, featuring a guest appearance from Lainey Wilson.
The EP is her first project under her new label Big Loud Records.
Lauren Alaina told Kelleigh Bannen on Apple Music Country about the EP, “It's country through and through, there's nothing pop about it. Nothing pop about it, which I was very intentional about. I spent a ton of time with my family over the last few years and back home in Rossville, Georgia where I came from… I want[ed] to make a record that the girls in my hometown will be proud of.”
- Lauren Alaina said of the EP in a statement, “It's been 13 years since we first met, and until a couple of years ago, I don't know that I ever slowed down for more than a day or two at a time. I spent more time with the people that matter most to me – my family, my fiancé, my friends – during that period than I had in years. This music comes from my heart and my hometown. I am who I am because of where and who I come from, and I'm more me today than I've ever been. I can't wait to unlock this next chapter with you.”
