Sam Fischer Teams Up With Meghan Trainor for New Song “Alright”
Australian pop rock singer-songwriter Sam Fischer teamed up with American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor to release a new song “Alright” on June 2, 2023.
This marks the first time Sam Fischer and Meghan Trainor have worked together.
For Sam Fischer, this collaboration follows up “High on You” with Australian singer-songwriter Amy Shark, which was released back in February.
The track was written by Sam Fischer, Meghan Trainor, Rykeyz and Britten Newbill. Produced by Rykeyz.
Sam Fischer told Abigail Virginia about the song in an interview on YouTube, “I had a panic attack in the shower, and it's weird because they say, to calm yourself down when you're upset, go to a body of water. So, I had this weird juxtaposition of like, 'my body is freaking out on me but I have this calming thing happening'. So, I was just saying, 'I'm gonna be alright, I'm gonna be alright', and so I wrote a song called 'Alright'. It's all about anxiety and letting it off not letting it defeat. It's a collaboration. I've told that story to the person who is on it or the person who was on it as Meghan Trainor.”
Meghan Trainor shared on social media, “When it comes out I can't wait for every one to hear it. What's that like it sounds like a hit tune that hasn't come out yet period. Well it's about to.”
