Richard Walters Returns With New Song “Move On”
British singer-songwriter Richard Walters returned with a new song “Move On” on May 26, 2023 via Nettwerk Music Group.
The song is his first solo music in a year and a half since the 2022 “Pale June”.
Also, the track will appear on his upcoming solo album, which is expected to be released later this year.
It was written by Richard Walters and Eliot James. Produced by Eliot James at Eastcote Studios in London.
The accompanying music visualiser was directed by Will Killen.
The track draws the kind of unsettled stillness after a heated argument with the pared-back piano motifs and low-key electronics.
Richard Walters said of the song, “In arguments or heated moments I'm the person that loses my cool and then the moment passes, the grievance dilutes and I'm able to gather myself. It's like I need the release. My wife is the opposite, and this is a song of apology and acceptance of my flaws and inability to sit with negativity too long.”
He shared on social media, “I worked on this with my great friend Eliot James at Eastcote Studios towards the end of last summer. It's a song about morning resolutions and learning to say sorry (in the right way).”- source : Apple Music
