Niall Horan Covers Lizzy McAlpine's “Ceilings” on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
Irish singer-songwriter Niall Horan appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform his latest “Heaven” and a cover of Lizzy McAlpine's “Ceilings”.
“Ceilings” was released by American singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine from her second studio album “Five Seconds Flat” in March 2023.
The track became her breakthrough song after becoming popular on TikTok and reached No. 6 on the UK Singles chart.
“Heaven” was released from his upcoming from his third studio album “The Show” back in February.
It was written by Niall Horan, Joel Little, John Ryan, and Tobias Jesso Jr. Produced by John Ryan and Joel Little.
Niall Horan said of the song, “One thing I've learned over the years is that society loves to pressure us into reaching certain milestones by a certain age. Whether that's getting married or anything else that really should be based on our own instincts. As I've gotten older I've tried to let go of those expectations and just follow my heart. The chorus of this song is saying that what I have in my life currently is amazing. So it would be crazy to ruin that by giving into outside pressures.”
