ROZES shared on social media, “One of the hardest things about growing up is growing out of people we love. Change is a good thing, but change is also heartbreaking sometimes. Don't hold on for the history of it all. —- thank you to my musical soulmates Thomas Tawgs & Jaida Dreyer for helping me put into music exactly what I've been feeling.”- The song is featured on her 7-track album of the same name, including the 2020 release six singles "Best They Ever Had”, “For Us”, “Love a Stranger”, “Treat You Right”, “Homebody” and “Heart on Fire”.
Last December, she wrote on social media, “Y'all I don't know what to say. I started writing songs to mend the broken pieces of me.
