American singer-songwriter Chlöe Bailey, aka Chlöe joined forces with American rapper Latto to release a new song “For The Night” on October 28, 2022.
The song is the fourth single off of her upcoming self-titled debut album, following “Have Mercy”, “Treat Me” and “Surprise”.
She first previewed the song during Instagram live back in April.
The track was written by Omer Fedi, London on da Track, Nija, Chlöe, Latto, Boobie, Peter Lee Johnson, Slimwav, Tone Deaf and Q Gulledge.

Chlöe Bailey co-directed the music video with Shermay Joh. American internet personality Druski appeared on the clip as a cameo.
Chlöe Bailey shared on social media, “Imma tell y'all a little secret about 'For The Night. I might regret saying this, but hey, maybe it'll help f*cking streams. I don't even think he knows this! I wrote 'For The Night' about Gunna. I'm single, guys. Sorry to bust bubbles, but when I wrote that song months ago, I wrote it about him.”- The debut album still doesn't have a set release date. Chlöe Bailey told Billboard about the album, “I started working on this album in 2019, a month or two before the pandemic hit. I put a pause on it so my sister and I could promote Ungodly Hour, but in between I was in my bedroom creating at night. I'd be making my own beats and working on songs and ideas for this project that I knew would come, I just didn't know when.”
