Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ XOHA Releases New Song “Heartless”
Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter XOHA released the second single of 2022 called “Heartless” on July 22, 2022, following “Too Late”.
The track was written by XOHA with production by Chad Bamford.
She described the song as the “summer revenge anthem for the ladies who deserve better and are done apologizing for others' mistakes.”
XOHA told New Scene Magazine about the song in an interview, “My inspiration for heartless was sparked up during a period of self-reflection that I went through, when I realized how one-sided and unhealthy many of the relationships in my life were. I'd find myself apologizing when the other person was in the wrong and being easily manipulated. However, I was reluctant to cut these bonds out of fear, loneliness, attachment, or lost love.
