  • Steps Premieres New Song “Hard 2 Forget” on BBC Radio 2

  • British dance-pop group Steps premiered a new song “Hard 2 Forget” along with a music video on BBC Radio 2 The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show.

The song is taken from their upcoming greatest hits album “The Platinum Collection” to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
It was written by VINCINT, JHart and STORYBOARDS. The video set in an East London café after a massive night out, the video features a colourful cast of characters including Drag Race UK star Charity Kase.
Steps said of the song, “This 25th anniversary year has been all about looking back at our history and celebrating so many wonderful moments throughout our career. The last few years have been made extra special by the incredible response to our new music. We couldn’t release the Platinum Collection without something brand-new for our fans, and we are SO excited to share our new single ‘Hard 2 Forget’. The moment we heard it, we knew it had the DNA of a classic Steps song but with a modern edge. We hope you all love it as much as we do!”
  • The new album is set to be released on August 19, 2022 and comprises 43-track.
“We cannot believe this year marks our 25th anniversary. Someone recently mentioned that the latest era of Steps has actually now outlasted our original run which was a delightful surprise,” the group said. “This anniversary marks the perfect moment to take a look back at everything we’ve achieved as a band. We realised that we’ve released a full 3 new studio albums since our last Greatest Hits so it felt like time to combine all our hits on one package.”
They continued, “We’ve recorded two brand-new tracks for the album and presto, the ‘Platinum Collection’ was born. It was such good fun listening back at 25 years of our songs and we hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane as much we did.”
