BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2022 Performance Highlights Part 1: Ed Sheeran, Anne-Marie, YUNGBLUD, Sigrid & Mimi Webb
BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2022 took place at War Memorial Park in Coventry between May 27 and May 29 2022.
It's the first time it has taken place in real life since 2019. 2020 and 2021 moved online due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Around 80,000 fans were at the festival across the three days.
On Saturday (May 28), the event featured Ed Sheeran, Anne-Marie, YUNGBLUD, Sigrid, Mimi Webb, Calvin Harris, Tom Grennan, Aitch, Catchy, Central Cee, KSI, Joel Corry, Easy Life, Fontaines DC, and AJ Tracey.
Anne-Marie said, “Big Weekend felt like the perfect mixture of a festival. Let go, forget all your problems and what's going on in your life, and have the best day ever.”
Joel Corry said “I'm living my dream. I feel like the luckiest person in the world. This has always been my dream, to be on the big stages.”- source : BBC Radio 1
