Röyksopp Releases New Song “If You Want Me” featuring Susanne Sundfør
Norwegian electronic music duo Röyksopp, consisting of Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland, Röyksopp will release their sixth studio album “Profound Mysteries” on April 29, 2022.
From the album, the duo the final promotional single called “If You Want Me” on April 27.
This time, the duo teamed up with Norwegian singer-songwriter Susanne Sundfør on the track.
It was written by Svein Berge, Torbjørn Brundtland and Susanne Sundfør. Produced by Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland.
Susanne Sundfør shared on social media, “It’s always fun to work with the mushrooms, and I think this song and the rest is the best material we’ve ever created together.”
The new album comprises 10-track, featuring guest appearances from Astrid S, Alison Goldfrapp, Susanne Sundfør, Beki Mari and Pixx.
The album is described in a press release as “an expanded creative universe and a prodigious conceptual project.”
The duo said of the project, “As human beings, what we don’t know vastly overshadows what we do know. As teenagers, we would discuss our own fascination and preoccupation with the infinite and the impossible – the most profound mysteries of life.”- source : Apple Music
