Los Angeles-based Singaporean alt-rock singer-songwriter Claire Gohst, aka Paper Citizen has released a new song “Goodbye”.
The song is the third single of 2022, following “Over the Moon” and “Heart On Fire”.
It was written by Claire Gohst. Co-produced by Sutter Hellwarth and Ainjel Emme.
Claire Gohst said of the song, “Amidst exploring new frontiers with alternative pop, goodbye is a song about running towards something you cannot control. it's the flame sparked in a haste, the explosion you couldn't contain, shattering the walls you carefully built and consuming you in all your being. even if fleeting and temporary, burning twice as bright and half as long, perhaps these choices reminded you of why you were alive. can we still move through the experience, consciously looking back at the ashes with love and grace?”- source : Apple Music
