COIN Announces New Album “Uncanny Valley”, Shares New Song “I Think I Met You In A Dream”
American alt-pop band COIN, consisting of Chase Lawrence, Ryan Winnen and Joe Memmel, announced their fourth studio album “Uncanny Valley” would be released on March 25, 2022.
It is their first album in two years since the 2020 album “Dreamland”. The new album comprises 14-track.
From the album, the trio unveiled a new song “I Think I Met You In A Dream” on February 18, 2022.
It was written by Chase Lawrence, Julian Bunetta, Joseph Memmel and Ryan Winnen. Produced by Chase Lawrence and Julian Bunetta.
“The idea was to take the elements of classic rock—the organic instrumentation and energy of drums and guitar and bass—then put all that through a very hi-fi and modern filter,” Chase Lawrence said of the song. “We wanted to make people feel like they've opened a door to the future, and heard a combination of sounds they weren't supposed to hear yet”.
The band will join in 5 Seconds of Summer's Arena Tour in the UK this spring, including a stop at Wembley SSE Arena.
The tour kicks off at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on April 3, 2022.
