  • Port Cities Returns With New Song “Parachute”

  • Canadian pop band Port Cities, consisting of Dylan Guthro and Carleton Stone, returned with a new song “Parachute”.

It is their first music in a year, following “I Still See You At Parties” featuring Emma-Lee.
The song builds on a breakneck, kaleidoscopic ’80s synth-pop vibe into a joyous celebration of life.
It was written by Carleton Stone, Dylan Guthro and Kayleigh O’Connor. Produced by Carleton Stone.
The band made the song remotely during the COVID-9 pandemic lockdown in 2020.
“Our latest single, 'Parachute,' is an upbeat, feel-good track about unapologetically living your life to the fullest, especially when it comes to being an artist in the world,” Port Cities said of the song. “We wrote this song at a time of reflection during the 2020 lockdown, collaborating remotely with our favourite Toronto-based musicians, Todd Lumley, Brad Kilpatrick, and Aaron Goldstein.”
The continued, “Life is unpredictable and things can change in a minute, so it's better to spend your time doing what you actually love. We hope that 'Parachute' inspires you to do just that.”
