Canadian singer-songwriter Nova Rose released her debut EP “Loved By” along with a new music video for the title track on June 11, 2021 via Warner Music Canada.
The EP comprises of 6-track, featuring guest appearance from Josh Sahunta. Produced by Chase Worrell, House of Wolf and Jason Keller.
All songs were written by Chase Worrell, Jake Stern, Jason Keller, Mark Vesprini and Nova Rose.
Nova Rose shared on social media, “My first ever EP, Loved By, is out in the world today, a collection of songs which center on some of my most personal experiences. Being at times an anxious person, I forget that there are so many people who love me for who I am. I wanted to give special thanks to all the creative souls who put time and energy into bringing my ideas to life with me (you know who you are) without you this wouldn't be possible.”- P0OxlgES5po
The accompanying music video for Loved By” was directed by Sébastien Iannuzzi, featuring Josh Sahunta.
She said of the song, “The album's title track, which features Josh Sahunta, was inspired by that first moment where you fall for someone, that butterfly feeling. However, there is a bit of a deeper meaning behind the song itself.”
She continued, “Being at times an anxious person, I forget that there are so many people who love me for who I am. This song is a reminder to myself and to you of our inherent worth. We are in a society where speaking about our feelings is still taboo, yet each of us expresses ourselves and puts our love out into the world differently.
