Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ LION BABE Releases New Song “Frida Kahlo”
New York City based alt-R&B duo LION BABE, consisting of Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman, released a new song “Frida Kahlo” from their upcoming third studio album “Rainbow Child”.
The song title comes from Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, who created her many portraits, self-portraits, and works inspired by the nature and artifacts of Mexico.
The track was written by Astro Raw, Keenyn Moore and Jillian Hervey. The accompanying music video was directed by Charlotte Scalpari and LION BABE.
The new album is expected to be released this summer. It is their first album in two years.
"It's been two years since our last baby. The wind carried a new world. New fear arrived, and old ways subsided. So we built a rainbow to carry us over," LION BABE shared on social media.
