Kylie Minogue Performs “Real Groove” & “Slow” on INFINITE DISCO
- Australian singer-songwriter Kylie Minogue announced her performance spectacular “Kylie: Infinite Disco” will be streaming on New Year's Eve (December 31st).
The 50 minute special performance, co-directed by Kate Moross and Rob Sinclai, from her latest album “DISCO”, which was released last month.
She has shared two precede performance videos for “Real Groove” and “Slow”.
“Real Groove” is included on the album “DISCO”. Kylie Minogue told Apple Music, “Because I was recording my own vocals at home, I found myself doing a lot more takes than I usually would, to the point where I literally had to back away from my laptop. 'Real Groove' was one of the songs where I did the most takes. I wanted to take the melody down half a tone. We experimented with doing it lower, but ultimately the higher notes were the sweet spot. You don't know what's coming, and then the song ends up really pumping. It was worth the effort.”
“Slow” was released in 2003 from her ninth studio album “Body Language”. The song reached No. 1 on the UK Singles chart and was nominated for the 47th Grammy Awards for Best Dance Recording.
