Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Tones And I Releases New Song “Fly Away”
On November 10th, Apple took place Apple Event and unveiled the next generation of Mac. Apple used Australian singer-songwriter Tones And I's new song “Fly Away” as theme of the event.
Following Apple Event, she officially released the song on November 13th.
The song is the follow-up to “Ur So F**king Cool” released back in May. The track was written during the COVID quarantine at home in Melbourne. Co-produced by herself and Dann Hume.
The accompanying music video was directed by Nick Kozakis and Liam Kelly.
“Being a busker, I obviously had bigger dreams,” Toni Watson (her real name) said of the song in a press release. “However, this song is inspired by the way I thought I would feel versus the way I actually feel. I think that's very powerful, at least to me. It's about genuine happiness and what we think we need to have happiness versus what we actually want.
