American singer-songwriter Skylar Grey has released two new songs “Sideways” and “Fucking Crazy”.
Both songs are taken form her upcoming fourth studio album “Dark Thoughts”.
“Fucking Crazy” was written by Skylar Grey and also the accompanying music video was directed by herself.
“Sideways” was written by Jayson DeZuzio, Elliott Taylor and Skylar Grey.
The new album is her first LP since 2016's “Natural Causes” and follows up her latest EP “Angel with Tattoos” released last October.
Also, “Dark Thoughts” is the first album as independent artist after leaving major label.
Skylar Grey shared on social media, “Gone are the days of major label support... but that doesn't mean we can't make dope art. It's amazing what people can accomplish with little money if they just set their minds to it and work hard. I am very impressed with our tiny powerhouse crew of creatives. And every shoot, every song drop, we learn something new that we can apply to the next one. It's a journey, an exploration, and a challenging conquest to do what we are doing... but I'm having so much fucking fun.
