JUNG Releases New Remix of “Something Beautiful” featuring Dagny
Swedish pop duo JUNG, consisting of brothers Tom and Henrik Ljungqvist, teamed up with Norwegian singer-songwriter Dagny to release a new remix of “Something Beautiful” on January 5, 2024.
The original version of the song was released in June 2023.
The track was written by Henrik Ljungqvist, Max Thulin, and Tom Ljungqvist. Produced by Morwell and Henrik Ljungqvist.
JUNG met Dagny in Stockholm during the autumn and clicked immediately.
JUNG said of the song, “We had an idea that it would be cool to remake 'Something Beautiful' into a duet and then it was a matter of course to ask Dagny in particular. We felt that she has an energy that would match the song and that her sound would make the song lift even more. Dagny is absolutely incredible, she is the definition of kempegreit.”
Dagny said, “It's such a feel-good, hooky song, and it honestly took me one listen to fall in love with the song and know that I wanted to jump on it.
