  • Adult Leisure Announces New EP “Present State of Joy and Grief”, Shares New Song “All For You”

  • Bristol-based alt-rock band Adult Leisure, consisting of Neil Scott (vocals), David Woolford (guitar), James Laing (bass) and Nathan Searle (drums), has announced their second EP “Present State of Joy and Grief” will be released on November 10, 2023.

The EP is the follow-up to the debut EP “The Weekend Ritual”, which was released in December 2022.
The band recorded the EP at Humm Studios in Bristol.
The EP comprises 4-track, all songs were written by Adult Leisure and produced by Ollie Searle.
The band said of the EP, “When we began working on what would become Present State, we set out to create a cohesive body of work that felt true to the band we are now and the place that we’re at in our lives. Lathered in waves of self reflection and acceptance of life’s heavy hands, our sophomore EP is drenched in honesty, whilst full of groove and fury in equal measure.”
  • From the EP, the band released a new song “All For You” along with a music video on October 27, 2023.
The song is the second single off of the EP, following “Bad Idea” released back in June.
The track was written by Adult Leisure and produced by Ollie Searle.
The band said of the song, “Although the theme of self-reflection is rife throughout ‘Present State Of Joy & Grief’, our 2nd single ‘All For You’ looks upon a fragmented bond, infidelity and loss. We wanted to tell a unique yet completely universal story. Every moment of heartbreak captured across 4 minutes.”
