OneRepublic Releases New Song “Mirage” featuring Mishaal Tamer from “Assassin's Creed Mirage” Soundtrack
Ubisoft and Interscope Records teamed up to release a promotional song called “Mirage” for Ubisoft's upcoming action-adventure game “Assassin's Creed Mirage” on September 22, 2023, made to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Assassin's Creed series.
The song was recorded by American pop rock band OneRepublic and Saudi singer Mishaal Tamer.
The track was co-written by OneRepublic's frontman Ryan Tedder, who took inspiration from the game.
In addition to Ryan Tedder, Grant Boutin, Coleton Rubin, Will Jayma and Mishaal Tamer co-wrote it. Produced by Ryan Tedder and Grant Boutin.
Ryan Tedder said, “Most people don't know this about me, but my band and I are closet gamers. I've been a huge fan of Assassin's Creed since the beginning. Having toured extensively in the Middle East, I wanted to capture the spirit of that region and reflect the location of the game sonically as much as possible. Mishaal Tamer added, “To be featured on a song with my musical heroes, OneRepublic that soundtracks my favorite video game, is a dream come true. I am honored to be a part of this special collaboration with OneRepublic and Assassins Creed.”
“Assassin's Creed Mirage” is scheduled to release for Amazon Luna, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 5, 2023, and iOS on iPhone 15 Pro models in early 2024- source : Apple Music
