Emily Kinney Releases New Song “B or C for Effort”
American actress and singer-songwriter Emily Kinney will release her upcoming album “Swimteam” on September 22, 2023.
From the album, she unveiled the third single called “B or C for Effort” on July 14, 2023.
The track has Emily Kinney reminiscing on a failed past relationship, and more specifically how her partner was unable to live up to basic expectations.
It was written by Emily Kinney and produced by Ben Greenspan.
Emily Kinney said of the song, “‘B or C for Effort’ kicks off Swimteam, a breakup album. It's my favorite song on the record and possibly one of my favorite songs I've ever written. And although the lyrics might seem like just a series of lyrics bitterly passing judgment on my ex (which they are), I've also always really loved the idea that earth is just a big school and we come down to earth and be human to learn lessons about love and expand our consciousness and one of the ways we do that is through relationships.”- source : Apple Music
