  • NuAsia Releases Debut Song “Quiet Violence”

  • Los Angeles-based country music band NuAsia, consisting of Saint Cloud (vocals), Isamu MacGregor (keyboards), Mark Flores (guitar), Dhammika DJ Jayasinghe (bass), Janesh Ruwanpathirana (percussion), and Roshan Seresinhe (drums), released a debut song “Quiet Violence” on June 9, 2023.

The song is the title track of their upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in 2023.
The track gives a stunning depiction of the desperation that comes with feeling a loved one slip away and is a melancholy, heartfelt tune detailing the initial stages of a relationship's downfall.
The track was written by Saint Cloud and Roshan Seresinhe. A music video for the song is set to be released in the summer.
The band drummer Roshan Seresinhe said of the song, “Although the track nor the video does not depict it being an affair, it can be translated that way. The partner feels like she has no way out as she drowns in her sorrow.”
  • The debut album is a powerful and emotive work that tells the story of a troubled relationship and the journey to overcome its challenges.
The album features six original tracks written by Saint Cloud and Roshan Seresinhe, each with a unique melody that matches the mood and theme of the song.
Also, the album is included a cover of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers' classic song, “Islands in the Stream”.
