American singer-songwriter Trevor Daniel released his third solo single of 2023 called “Heartstrings” on June 2, 2023, following “SYL” and “Exhausted”.
Also, the song is the follow-up to the collaborative single “Paris” with Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter NERIAH, which was released last month.
The tack was written by Trevor Daniel Neill, Carla Cappa, and Joshua Murty, who also produced it.
Trevor Daniel said of the song, “For me, this song is mostly about noncommitment, and what happens when you finally sit down and take inventory about who you've become. It took me some time to address this in my own life because it was much easier to see this in other people that I had surrounded myself with. I was living unaware, and I'm not super proud of it but i felt like writing this song and admitting that I'm not always the victim is a step in the right direction.
