N-Dubz Premieres New Song “February” on BBC Radio 1Xtra
British hip hop trio N-Dubz, consisting of Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer, premiered a new song “February” on BBC Radio 1Xtra Sound with Remi Burgz on April 27, 2023
The song will appear on their upcoming fourth studio album, which is expected to be released this summer.
It was written by Costadinos Contostavlos, Tula Contostavlos, Richard Rawson, Lewis Rawson, and Lewis Rawson. Produced by Richard Rawson.
The accompanying music video was directed by Reece Selvadorai.
The band told Remi Burgz about the song, “I'd say it's about there's a bit we've all had relationships that are like toxic love and you're kind of stuck in a cycle if someone you know it's bad for you, but you just got so much passion for that person and you love both of you just go from winding each other up making each other jealous and you break out your makeup, you break out your makeup, but you still come back to each other at the end of the day even though you're playing these little games with each other and February's about that kind of that kind of love.”
- The new album is their first project in 13 years since the 2010 album “Love.Live.Life”.
The band said of the album, “This album is some of the best music we've ever made. It's just end up refined. We can't wait to you all hear these pieces of music and these concepts just touching on the base where he says no you're fine.”
They continued, “Our pen wasn't nowhere near this peak at in times of use right in front of us right and we've had like another decade but really honing in on our skills as artists as writers as producers, you know, experience and experiences. And I feel like some of the music that we've done well, most of the music we've done on this album is probably the best music that we've ever recorded as a band.”
