Italian ambient and electronic music producer Kisnou announced his upcoming 5-track EP “The Untold Story Of The Rainmaker” would be released June 9, 2023.
It is his first project in three years since the 2020 EP “Out of the Dark”.
From the EP, he released the first single called “The Last Memory of Me” on January 20, 2023.
The track was written and produced by Kisnou, featuring poems written and narrated by Jessie Summerhayes.
“'The Last Memory of Me' is the opening of my new storytelling EP 'The Untold Story of the Rainmaker', which can be labelled as an audio novel,” Kisnou said of the song. “A boy named Oisin wakes up after years spent in coma and finds himself in a world where colors have faded. Next to his bed, there is a tape recording of a woman that took care of him all this time, though he does not remember her face or her name (the first one out of five). ”- He continued, “All he knows is that the cause of his coma was the absence of Endorphin, a substance that everyone is desperately looking for now. Maybe there is a link between Endorphin and the faded colors.”
He added, “Her departure was probably supposed to find that cure and save his life, however the recording she left behind is the only way to understand what happened and to find her again.” -
