Ozzy Osbourne Releases New Album “Patient Number 9”: Streaming
Back in September, British heavy metal singer-songwriter Ozzy Osbourne released the thirteenth solo studio album “Patient Number 9” via Epic Records.
It is his first album in two years since the 2020 album “Ordinary Man”.
The album comprises 13-track, produced by multi-instrumentalist Andrew Watt, who also produced the previous album “Ordinary Man”.
The album features Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Pearl Jam's Mike McCready, and his longtime collaborators Tony Iommi and Zakk Wylde.
Also, Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who passed away on March 25th 2022 and it is one of his last recording sessions, joined in the album.
Ozzy Osbourne told Apple Music about the album, “I've been doing it 54 years. If I don't know what I'm doing now, I shouldn't be doing it.”
He continued, “Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck are megastars. I didn't think they'd want to play on my album. But they both did.”
The album is nominated for Best Rock Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.- Photo Ross Halfin
