Billie Eilish Drops New Live Video for “Therefore I Am” from Apple Music Live 2022
American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish has dropped a new live video for “Therefore I Am” from Apple Music Live 2022.
She filmed the video at The O2 Arena in London during “Happier Than Ever, The World Tour”.
The live version of the song is included on the 6-track live album “Apple Music Live: Billie Eilish”, which was released on October 1, 2022.
Billie Eilish shared on social media, “filming one of the shows from this tour was sooo special to me. this has been my favorite show i've ever put on & i'm so excited & grateful we get to bring it to everyone who wasn't able to see it in person.”
The original version of the song appeared on her sophomore album “Happier Than Ever”.
She said of the song, “It feels like me. The rest of them also feel like me but this one is more like—if I think about it from an outside perspective, this one, I'd be satisfied, you know, if I was a fan. This song is very, very up for interpretation. I'm curious to see what people get from it and also what they feel when they hear it. Yeah, it's a little mean, a little bit. It [the song] was very fun to complete. It was fun to record, especially, because, I feel like you can hear it. I feel that I sound very, like, I'm just fucking around. I'm just joking and shit. You know that, “Stop, what the hell are you talking about?” It's like, come on. It's so real and natural and don't take me seriously, you know? I love it.”
Before, Billie Eilish injured her ankle during a Milan show. So, she has picked up a gym habit, she revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music.
She told Zane Lowe, “And more seriously for the last, like, four months, I've been like completely changing the way that my life is involving fitness. Like I'm a gym rat now, like when the [censored] did that happen? I don't know but it did. It started with 'I can't get injured anymore, can't do it, not going to let myself live like that.' Because I lived like that for years.”
She continued, “Everything I've ever loved, I've had to quit. I used to dance like 12 hours a week. And then I got injured. I tore my growth plate in my hip, the bone separated from the muscle. It was the most depressing year of my life. I just laid in bed; I couldn't move. Since then, I have not danced.”
She added, “I started working out really heavy in May-ish, but then especially coming back from Europe, I started working out at the gym for the first time and every day. And I know that's something a lot of people do, but that was not a thing I did. And it's become such an incredibly huge part of my life and it makes me feel so much better as a person and the way that I can move on stage now, I feel so much better.”
