Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Waiting For Smith Releases New Song “Skylight Dawn”
Amsterdam-based British singer-songwriter Harry Lloyd, aka Waiting For Smith released a new song “Skylight Dawn” on September 30, 2022.
The song is the third single off of his upcoming EP “Trying Not To Try”, following “Run” and “Save Me”.
It was written by Hardress Anthony Llewellyn Lloyd, and Dane Lewis Etteridge who also produced the track.
He recorded the song at Assault & Battery in London.
Surrounding inspirational discourses on mental health, the song is about the push and pull of love and what that does to the mind.
Harry Lloyd said, “However challenging it can be to be with someone you love, it's arguably one of the best feelings you get during this experience on earth. When you realise you're healing together - you see the beauty in the struggle.”
The new EP follows up the 2021 EP “Hopelessness of Love”.- He shared on social media, “So so super proud of this track…I feel the message of unity in this song, of struggle and the push and pull of love. It's life in a song! We really poured our hearts into this record me, and my brother Dane Lewis Etteridge. So I hope it moves you, comforts you, make you cry and makes you laugh with delight. But ultimately feel that to love is always a good thing, it will be alright and when you're healing you see the beauty in the struggle.”
