  • Honey Dijon & Channel Tres Premiere New Song “Show Me Some Love” featuring Sadie Walker on BBC Radio 1

  • American DJ Honey Dijon premiered a new song “Show Me Some Love” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.

This time, she teamed up with American rapper Channel Tres and London-based singer-songwriter Sadie Walker on the track.
The song will appear on her upcoming album “Black Girl Magic”.
It was written by Chris Penny, Honey Redmond, Luke Solomon, Nick Sylvester, and Sheldon Young. Produced by Chris Penny, Honey Dijon, and Luke Solomon.
Honey Dijon told Clara Amfo about the song, “I'm a fan of their work. I think they're incredible artists. They're the future and it was such an honor to sort of mill that whole LA, Chicago vibe together. And I just love his vocal delivery and it was just an honor to work with him really. It's really nice that that I can still get excited about people.”
She continued, “House music is you know, it's not a spring chicken. It's been around since like 1983. And so I've heard every iteration of dance music that has ever existed. So when I hear something new and fresh and exciting, I tried to keep it moving and like keep pushing house music forward and I just thought he was a perfect artist to do that. Yeah, it's amazing. It just reminds me of like old school underground clubs in Chicago. So it was such an honor to work with him on this track.”
  • She said of the album, “The whole album is a love letter to love actually, because we are living in some very perilous times. And so the most radical thing that you can have self love, and also just love in general. And the club love in the club, the love, the love, make the love. It's all in the cloud, the love of dance, the love of sound, the love of beats, somebody might take these vocals and make a track out of it, which I hope they do.”
