  • Trevis Releases Debut EP “Floor Plan”: Streaming

  • Los Angeles-based Norwegian singer-songwriter Trevis has released his debut EP “Floor Plan” via Antima Music Group.

The EP comprises 6-track, produced by Able Heart, Edgar “Johnny Velvet” Etienne, JNS, Sons of Sonix and Trevis.
He wrote the EP during lockdown in 2021 and 2022. The EP delves deeper into a relationship Trevis went through.
Trevis said of the EP, “Floor Plan is the best reflection of who I am as an artist in this moment and time. It's the start, the core, and the blueprint of my career. When I was younger, my father played folk-indie guitar. When I was 16 years old, I moved to the United States on my own. I went to high school in Los Angeles, where most of the music I heard was Hip-Hop, Trap, and R&B. I want listeners to feel the highs and lows that each song makes me feel since Floor Plan is based on a story about one girl and the situations we went through.”
  • Trevis explained of some tracks for the EP.

    “All Night”
“'All Night' is the first song I did with my UK brothers Sons Of Sonix, a collab with them was way overdue. The same night we made it, we posted a snippet of it on IG, and it immediately sparked something. The whole flow of it just felt right. We were getting mad love online, from UK icon Wretch 32 to one of my favourite Nigerian artists Oxlade.”

    “Company For Now”
“'Company For Now' is about a girl that approached me and asked if I wanted to be her 'company for now'. Her confidence and approach blew my mind, and I had to write a song about her. Obviously, in the song I made it sound like it was me and I was a G, but she approached me like that. She knew what she wanted and knew she was gonna get it. That's why I said, 'You bad as fuck and you know it'. 'Company For Now' is my new favourite record that'll always be playing if you're driving around in the car with me. We made it earlier this year and it's at the top of my playlist.”

    “Avenue” via The Honey Pop
“I write all my songs from very personal experiences. 'Avenue' is one of the songs I'm the proudest of making, especially how the production turned out. 'Avenue' came from a vulnerable place. Once I had the guitar down, the melodies and what I wanted to say followed quickly. I had seen this girl for a while, and we were in that awkward stage where I didn't know what to call us. I kept it mellow and didn't blow her phone up, but I am a Cancer, and we are very in tune with our emotions. 😂 Staying home and overthinking is the worst thing you can do when you're in that position. So I went back to my old ways to try and distract myself but ended up feeling more lonely at the club. ”

“We Should Think It Over” via The Honey Pop
“'We Should Think It Over' means the most to me because it was the first song I had produced from start to finish by myself and was “proud” enough to play for my team. Hearing them love it gave me the motivation to keep going!”

    “Let Me Know”
“'Let Me Know' is the most fun and vibey record on the EP. It was also the fastest record we wrote and recorded”
