Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Usher & Ella Mai Drop New Music Video for “Don't Waste My Time”
Last December, American singer-songwriter Usher teamed up with British singer-songwriter Ella Mai to release a collaboration song “Don't Waste My Time”. This marks the first collaboration between both artists.
Four months later, both artists dropped a new music video for the song directed by Lesean Harris.
The clip features Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Christian Combs, Jamie Kennedy and Evan Ross all make cameos.
The track will appear on his forthcoming ninth studio album. “I genuinely am a fan of her voice, and also felt like the song was perfect for both of us," Usher said. "The more I listened to 'Don't Waste My Time,' I felt like it was missing a female's perspective. So we flipped it up, changed the second verse to a female's story, and I felt like she was great for it. I reached out to her, and it took a minute, but we finally managed to get in the room with each other, and the rest is becoming history.”- source : Rolling Stone
