Earlier this year, American pop rock band OneRepublic collaborated Swedish electronic music duo Galantis on “Bones”.
Following the song, the band has unveiled a new song “Rescue Me”. It was written by Brent Kutzle and Ryan Tedder.
On May 14th, the band revealed the news on Twitter alongside a clip of a boy facing a massive waterfall.
The song will appear on their upcoming fifth studio album, which is expected to be released this year.
Last December, frontman Ryan Tedder told Billboard, the band has a tentative title and the artwork for its fifth studio album.
“I might be one of the only people this week still in the studio, 'cause I have to wrap vocals on a bunch of stuff. This is stuff I'm the most excited about in years,” he said.
The band recorded 3 tracks in 2018 December. He wrote on Facebook, "Haven’t made an album or actually chased a new single in 2 years. (And it’s been an amazing 2 years getting to chill).... but the time has come for something new."- Nym5stAJAt8

Update:
The band premiered a new music video for the song, directed by Christian Lamb.
The clip is reminiscent of the videos for "Midnight City" by M83 and "Titanium" by David Guetta .- source : Spotify
