  • No Dry County Covers Little Hurricane's “Sheep In Wolves Clothes” featuring Brandy Zdan

  • Lubbock-based alt-country rock band No Dry County teamed up with Nashville singer Brandy Zdan for a new song “Sheep In Wolves Clothes”.

    The song will appear on their upcoming sophomore album "Panhandle Music", which is out June 29th.
    The album was preceded by three singles "Fifteen Piece Band", "Bittersweet" and "Elvis Gun Runner". The new song is the fourth single.
    Originally, “Sheep In Wolves Clothes” was released by American rock band Little Hurricane in 2014. The track is included on their third studio album "Gold Fever". It was written by Anthony “Tone” Catalano and Celeste “CC” Spina.
    This marks the first cover song the release as No Dry County.

    Lead singer of the band, Trent Langford told Lone Star Music Magazine about the song in an interview;
    “‘Sheep in Wolves Clothes’ is the first cover we’ve released as a band. It was written by Anthony ‘Tone’ Catalano and Celeste ‘C.C.’ Spina of Little Hurricane, who we were introduced to while touring through Colorado. As a band we fell in love with their music and when we began playing the song live, it instantly became a fan favorite as well. It’s a story of hope between two people that doesn’t discount the deep valleys that relationships go through; a raw and emotional song so well expressed dynamically by the music that it draws you to a very vulnerable place.”
  • Trent Langford said of Brandy Zdan;
    “We decided early on that we wanted to try it as a duet, and when Adam suggested Brandy, we jumped on it. I’ve kept up with her career ever since then and have always enjoyed her alternative sensibilities. She was able to cut her vocals in Nashville, and immediately found the tone and tenor of the song so much so that I asked Adam if we could just have her cut the entire song and let me cover the backing. She’s a fantastic artist and we’re really glad she was willing to collaborate on this project.”
