Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ EMM Releases New Mixtape “Sapphire”: Streaming
Los Angeles-based pop singer-songwriter EMM released her new mixtape “Sapphire” along with a music video for “ACT III: END”, which is third part of the cinematic video trilogy.
The video was directed by Kevin Sarrico. EMM said, “This video is extremely vulnerable and ties the whole story together. I'm excited to see people put the pieces together.”
The mixtape “Sapphire” comprises of 11-track and is the third part of the trilogy of mixtapes, following “RUBY” and “EMERALD”.

EMM shared on social media, “There's so many humans I need to thank for being a part of the trilogy... I added an extra couple minutes at the end of the video to thank everyone I could think of.
I'm grateful that God blessed me with the resources to make this project. I hope it reminds you that IF THERES ANYONE WORTH BETTING ON, ITS YOURSELF. 100+ creatives across 28 locations were hired to help create this all during the pandemic. And that's the dopest thing I've ever done.
I could not have done this without Kevin Sarrico. It was mostly just he and I putting absolutely every detail together for this project. We both did a thousand jobs to make it happen. And I'm so thankful that we didn't give up.
I also could not have created this without the my friends ZOË and Taylor Wilzbach who spent years with me in the studio, investing their effort and energy into me when everyone else counted me out. And I will never forget that.”-
She continued, “A LOT of people have slept on me over the years. And a LOT of people have done me very dirty. I don't know anyone else who has been through as much as I have in music and is still crazy enough to be doing it. But when God is for you it doesn't matter who thinks what or does what to you because you ALWAYS bounce back. ALWAYS. And this trilogy of mixtapes and videos is a testament to that before anything else.
If you know who you are, it doesn't matter what anyone says to you or about you. You are a seed destined to be a redwood. And no one can take that out of you unless you surrender it. So keep going. No matter what comes against you - the light that is in you is greater then what darkness is in the world.
On a more personal note, my constant peace is in this: the one who loves me is so much greater then everything this world reveres. So my fears are groundless.
